My Lake Fork Bassmaster Fantasy Picks are here, but where is the lake?
Lake Fork is a reservoir located in Wood, Rains, and Hopkins counties in the state of Texas.
A reservoir is a body of water used for storing and managing water supplies.
Hey, I’m a newbie in bass angling and I don’t care who knows.
I would love to visit Lake Fork some day to see for myself what this Lunker lake thing is all about.
A place called Lunker Lake suggests that fishing there must be nothing less than exciting.
The Bassmaster Elite tournament will be held on May 8 thru May 11 at the Lake Fork Reservoir.
The Bassmaster Elite series is the highest pro level of bass angler competition for Bassmaster members.
Anyone can rise to the Elite series with hard work and dedication.
There are three (3) Fantasy games Bassmaster.
To be successful in this game, contestants must pick Five (5) bass anglers.
These anglers must be capable of ranking in the top ten on Championship Sunday.
Choos who you think will win seven individual head-to-head match ups.

One of the unique features of these shoes is the holes through the sole for water to drain.
It is completely possible to swim with minimal effort while wearing water shoes.
Unlike Sneakers, which can weigh down a swimmer in distress or a person thrown overboard from a boat or kayak.
Water shoes provide a snug fit but, I do not feel confident water shoes can prevent slips and falls in most water environments.
Be careful when walking and maneuvering in any type of water environment like: pools, boats, rocky water shores, docks, and piers.
Personally, I hate walking bare foot, wearing sandals, and any other type of foot wear with exposed heals.
My feet stink and I don’t care. I’d wear boots in the shower if it wasn’t so unsanitary.
Water shoes provide me with the confidence of wearing a shoe while taking advantage of the breathability of sandals at the same time.
I recently purchased a Hobie kayak from Dugout Bait and Tackle in Marietta, GA.
I want to make sure there is enough slip and fall protection in and around my kayak during my fishing trips.
My most important concern is kayak entry and exit from many types of environments not including boat docks.
I hope water shoes will increase my confidence while enjoying one of my favorite hobbies.

Keep in mind that I am explaining how I play the Fantasy Fishing contest.
Do not expect my angler selection to be perfect.
In fact, I do not take this game too serious. I play this game for fun and not to win.
I may not always perform well, but when I do, it will be awesome. Always follow your own heart. Make an educated guess or not.

A: I chose Jay because I had a strong feeling he was going to do well.
B: I chose Patrick because I know he can find 5 fish. He will do this for at least 3 days in a row. He might even do it for 4 days. He can achieve a top 10 championship Sunday.
C: I chose Emil Wagner because his recent performances have been very impressive. Besides, He has a heavy weight belt. For some odd reason I think Jordan Lee is going to do really well at Lake Hartwell.
D: This is Brandon Cobb’s home lake and he won the last competition at Lake Hartwell. I expect Brandon to find 5 fish early and be in the top 10 come Championship Sunday. Even if he doesn’t win, I strongly believe He will place high in the Bass Angler field for the competition.
E: Jeff Gustafson placed high during the last competition at Lake Hartwell. I think he is capable of finishing strong again.
E: I have decided to replace Jeff Gustafson with Marc Frazier. He placed 9th in an Eastern Opens at Lake Hartwell.

I did not correctly select 5 bass fishermen that will be in the top 10 on championship Sunday, but it sure feels good to have at least 3 of the 5 fishermen chasing the blue trophy today (04/13/2025).

The Pasquotank River looks like a great place to fish. I get the impression that the fish in the area are not heavily pressured… I would love to visit this lake some day.
I want a bass boat but can not afford it. My trailer park lease specifically states: “No boats can be parked on the property”. In addition to that there are all sorts of fees associated with boat ownership. Boat insurance, boat registration, boat trailer registration tag, fuel, life vests, flares, life preservers, boater education certificate, trailer hitch, and more. It just is not financially possible at this point in my life.
So, I decided to try my hand at kayak fishing. The Hobie Pro Angler 14 with 360 drive is going to be my first boat. I am excited to own this kayak and put to test all the things the nay sayers are talking about. I am 6’6in tall and weigh 331 pounds on a good day. Based on the specifications; I think the Hobie Pro Angler is best for me.
Don’t worry Old town, Native Watercraft, Jackson kayak, Bonafide kayak and all other kayak manufacturers; this will not be the only kayak I own.
As I have said before… There is a lot I do not know about fishing. I enjoy the thrill of discovery in having a hobby to give me relaxation. I hope to become a better skilled fisherman in the future, but I have a long journey of mistakes ahead of me before I get to that level.
I have always been a bank fisherman watching boat fishermen trolling just beyond my longest cast from the bank and catching all sorts of worthy fish right in front of me.
Long ago a Co-worker once told me that he felt sorry for everyone fishing from the bank, because one day on the lake his fish finder was identifying all types of quality fish just beyond the bobbers lined up in the water, he went on to say that he had the time of his life pitching over the bow of his boat catching fish that the bank fishermen just could not reach.
